PM Math

Pre- Primary

The PM Math course is for pre-primary or Kindergarten students. It is aligned with the International Consolidated Standards (ICS) framework as well as the U.S. Common Core State Standards. The Kindergarten course aims at teaching mathematics to ESL students using the English language (CLIL) approach. In PM Math, the content and concepts are modeled by the teacher. Students are given time to practise and apply the concepts through the activities. PM Math uses engaging illustrations to assist in visual understanding and comprehension of the concepts presented. Concepts and skills appeal to young learners. Each unit is presented with objectives and a vocabulary list to help teachers and students track progress. Guided practice and problem-solving math activities are made easy by this program’s approach. There is an At Homework page for students to expand what they have learned in school. The curriculum is compatible with PM English KG and PM Science, which helps strengthen students’ English skills. LMS Code offers additional exercises for the students to complete in class or at home.
