The PM Math course is for early pre-primary students written specifically to cover the International Consolidated Standards (ICS) framework and align with U.S. Common Core State Standards. The Kindergarten course, aims at teaching mathematics in English (CLIL) to ESL students. PM Math teaches the methodology of model, practice, and apply. PM Math uses engaging illustrations to assist in visual understanding and comprehension of the concepts presented. Concepts and skills are aimed to appeal to young learners. The program’s aim is to not only teach math to students, but to build students’ confidence in order to help them succeed in math. Each unit is presented with objectives and a vocabulary list to help teachers and students track progress. There are comprehensive activities and exercises to reinforce student comprehension of each math concept. Guided practice and problem-solving are made easy by this program’s approach. There is an At Homework page for students to apply what they have learned from the unit lesson. The curriculum is compatible with PM English KG and PM Science, which helps strengthen students’ English base. An interactive CD offers additional exercises for the student to complete at home or in class.
